What HTTP 204 means
RFC 9110 §15.3.5. Successful operation with no representation to return. Body must be empty. Often used for DELETE, or PUT/PATCH where the client does not need the updated resource back.
Typical causes
- Successful DELETE
- Successful PUT/PATCH without echoing resource
